Black Stripe Woven Throw

An excellent blend of local Hudson Valley, NY fibers into the perfect blanket design featuring chunky black stripes on ivory. A combination of two wools were used in this blanket for good fiber definition and luminosity. Together they blend into a strong, soft, drapeable and durable wool, capable of holding up to wear while retaining a lovely cushion in the hand. The addition of the alpaca lends luxurious hand and smoothness. Alpaca is a smoother fiber and even a small amount in a blend will increase the softness and bring luxurious decadence. No dyes were used to make the yarn, the colors you see were the colors of the sheep! How cool is that?
